Propylene Glycol (PG) USP/EP (United States Pharmacopeia/European Pharmacopoeia) we supply is a pharmaceutical grade of Monopropylene Glycols with a specified purity greater than 99.8%.
DIY eLiquid base components: PG (Propylene Glycol) and VG (Vegetable Glycerine) all in 100 ml glass bottles (for safe extended storage).
Our glycerine is produced from vegetable sources, mainly palm oil, and is kosher, halal and vegetarian approved.
Mixing your own eliquid makes evaping easy, efficient and cost effective.
The only component you need to buy outside of our store is nicotine. The easiest way to switch from tobacco to e-cigs is to use the e-liquid with nicotine (at least at first). You would not notice the change, - it is that easy. Unfortunately, you cannot buy nicotine in Australia. You can buy nicotine (legally for personal use) from the States and you need very little. If you buy one 500 ml bottle of 100 mg/ml concentration of nicotine and mix it with no-nicotine e-liquid (PG, VG or their combination) as 1:6 it will give you a concentration of 16 mg/ml (which is medium-strong) and it will be enough for 12 months (on average, you will be using about 2-3 ml of e-Liquid a day). The delivery time could be slow (about 5-10 days) but it is a good and proven supplier of quality nicotine. The nicotine solutions are PG- or VG-based, with the base being the main ingredient.
Other components like PG, VG, flavourings or ready-to-use e-liquid without nicotine could be bought in our store. Most of ready-to-use eLiquids are PG-based and suitable for most people. Some persentage of VG can be added as well, as VG increases volume of vapor. Some ecig users are sensitive to PG and use more VG in their eLiquid (e.g., 50/50 and even 100% VG). PG usually tends to give warmer, lighter vapour and stronger flavour. VG marginally mutes the flavour, but gives more substance to the vapour, which somewhat cooler than PG vapour.
When you are mixing your own eliquid you can adjust the ratio of PG/VG to whatever suits you best. Ratios of PG/VG ranging from 80/20 to 50/50 are the most common. As the VG ratio increases you might need to add some distilled/deionised water to make the base less viscous.
The most attractive advantage of mixing yourself is that you can adjust the nicotine and flavour strength according to you requirements and taste. The most common nicotine strength could vary from 4-6 mg/ml (low) to 12-16 (medium) to 18-24 (high, which is equivalent to a medium strength tobacco cigarette due to lower nicotine absorption rates from eliquid compared to smoking tobacco). There is a tendency for ecig users to reduce the nicotine strength with time, but at the beginning it is advisable to have the nicotine strength which is high enough to help a transition from tobacco smoking to vaping to be more smooth and easy.
Flavour strength is another advantage of making your own e-Liquid. There are so many flavours available on the market, and it is just a matter of finding your favourite flavour. Most of concentrated flavours are also PG-based, so PG again is the main component.
Just as people might prefer one brand of cigarette to others, the same is true for e-liquids - you have to try them and see.The tobacco flavours are the most difficult to replicate, so do not be disappointed if the standard ready-to-use tobacco-flavoured e-liquid does not taste as you favorite cigarette brand. Be adventuroues, try new flavours you think you would like. You will be surprised at how you preferences will change with time when you find your favourite flavour. The most common ratio of concentrated flavours used in eLiquids is between 3 and 10%. Just starting with low ratio is the easiest way to find out how much flavour you need. It is advisable not to use more than 10% of concentrated flavours of the total volume of your eliquid.
And finally, the cost of making your own e-Liquid. Usually, you would need about 90 ml of e-Liquid per month. On average, 3 bottles of 30 ml ready-to-use flavoured eliquid would cost you from $24 to $37.5 plus the postage. If you are buying no-nicotine eliquid or mixing it yourself you also need about 20 ml of 60 mg/ml nicotine which would cost you about $4. 60 ml of PG or VG is another $4.5. One bottle of concentrated flavour is enough to flavour 150 ml of eliquid and it would cost $5.5. So, the monthly supply of mix-it-yourself eliquid would cost you only $12.5 plus the postage.

e-Liquid base components
PG and VG are the two main components of any e-Liquid. Typically, any e-Liquid consists of more than 99% of PG, VG or their combination, and water. The other 2 components are nicotine and flavours.Mixing your own eliquid makes evaping easy, efficient and cost effective.

As someone else has mentioned don't think you get a PG and VG in the order. You get one or the other.
Quite frankly online eCig people often have what I would call an 'ambiguous' nature to their ads.
I've got everything I want but the PG. I now have to order a bottle and pay the post again.

Good quality and great packaging at a nice price. Just beware that unlike the photo and description may suggest, it is not VG AND PG its VG OR PG. the two bottles are sold separately and need to be ordered and put in your cart separately. Ask me how I know...
